Marketing Executive - Contract - Berkshire
Role Summary:
My key client based in Windsor, Berkshire, is currently recruiting for an experienced marketing executive for a contract position. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, and will thrive helping out with a variety of marketing activities, some already in progress, and others to own and start from scratch. A great team player and someone willing to get on with the job will work well within this busy and dynamic Marketing team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of demonstrable hands-on working experience as a Marketing Executive in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrable experience of organising and managing events.
- Experience and knowledge of using social media as a marketing platform.
- Briefing and working with external marketing agencies.
- Understanding of print
- Planning and managing project deadlines
- Writing and pulling together copy for material
- Experience of using web content management systems
- Competent word and excel user
Some of the projects involved:
- Setting up a networking event for Directors in early 2015
- Assisting in briefing agencies for national 2015 marketing campaign to raise awareness of the companies brand profile
- To manage all of the marketing and PR activity for events taking place in the next 6 months. This includes putting together promotional material, arranging photography and film if appropriate, writing press release and web article, updating website, updating social media channels.
Qualifications
- Diploma or a degree in marketing is desirable but not essential
