Partner Channel Marketing Manager

Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a Partner Channel Marketing Manager. This is a contract role running for 6 months initially based in Reading.
Role Purpose
Specifically PCMM will be accountable for driving the following:
- Development and ownership of an end-to-end channel engagement strategy to drive recruitment, development and sales activation of a partner segment
- Data driven and measurable through-partner marketing and sales activation campaigns resulting in increased revenue and share through cross sell and upsell, renewals and deployment
- Develop partner capacity by designing a strategy around competency attainment within our partner community in conjunction with the Partner Network team and accountability for delivering on competency attainment
- Develop partner capability by designing the partner readiness strategy in conjunction with the Partner Channel Development Manager (PCDM)
- In conjunction with the workload lead will deliver a governance cadence back to internal stakeholders providing return on investment information as well as insights into the marketplace
- Working with the partner community to raise the bar in terms of marketing capability and execution leveraging relevant agencies and resources.
- Partner satisfaction in regards marketing investments and campaign execution
- Engage with the planning and review rhythm of the business, supplying insights where required
The right candidate will need fierce commercial acumen and drive for results as well as expertise in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that deliver outstanding return on investment. They should be an excellent collaborator and partner in driving marketing leadership across partners, subsidiary field team, and Corp team members.
The objectives of the Partner Channel Marketing Manager are twofold:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5 year minimum of related experience in channel marketing, operating at exec level down to drive marketing strategy & execution to support business goals
- Demonstrated leadership, confidence and composure in driving high impact strategic initiatives at exec level down.
- Strong commercial acumen and channel knowledge to drive net new revenue and share gain marketing strategy
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, to a broad set of internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional leadership in driving complex, broad cross-functional engagements
- A unique balance of ability (and desire) to both understand strategy as well as drive day to day execution
- Adept at getting things done, and performing amidst ambiguity and complexity
- Keen ability to build effective relationships with sales teams, partners and corporate stakeholders
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.
Salary: £33-35,000 per annum
