Immediate contract for BO/SAP BW developer in Brussels
My client, multinational organisation based in Brussels is urgently looking for the following profile for an initial until the end of the year with clear visibility on further extensions.
Build a Financial Group reporting system based on SAP BO Technology - (New project).
Develop and maintain SAP BO universes for Financial Management Reporting based on SAP BW data and External data.
Maintenance the existing Rapidmart ODS which has the dual purpose of local reporting environment and source of the CFR system. (Run/Maintenance)
Activity description:
Reproduce the current global excel reporting in SAP BO WebI.
Create Regional Reporting packages for the different regions
Create an environment for Financial Reporting and analysis with BO WebI and Designer.
Create modifications on Rapidmart ODS to be able to extract CFR data ( reporting system).
Maintenance/ETL/Universe/report modifications on NFRS Rapidmart ODS
Maintenance of Universe/report modifications on CFR reporting system.
Environment (HW/SW):
CFR
HW: Intel 64 X86 running Unix clusters for BW 7.0 Servers, Intel 32 X86 running Windows Server clusters for SAP BO 3.1 Reporting environment.
NFRS
BO XI R2 on oracle Databases using with the customized SAP BO Rapidmart Environment.
- Limited financial background
- Interaction between BO/BW environment so as to create the optimal reporting. Knowledge of SPA BO universes and SAP BW BICS connections.
- Knowledge of the BO environment - main focus on WEBI development and data services (ETL extraction)
- superficial BW Platform background
- Research and platform knowledge to find and implement workarounds for the defects in the Platform.
- ETL using SAP Data Services 3.2 on SAP BO Rapidmart
- Maintain/adapt universes on Rapidmart ODS (NFRS - reporting environment)
- Maintain/adapt universes on SAP- able to compose WEBI reports based on the WordlLine SAP BW reporting environment).
- Analyze/investigate defects in the current reporting environment.
- Analyze and define the authorization in the Business Objects environment and ensure a proper communication between SAP BW and SPA BO
