Description
My client, a global giant based in Galway, are looking to hire a number of Senior C++/C# Developers.
The successful candidates will ensure that all code meets the application team coding standards including documenting all development and all test cases. Investigate and fix all issues raised during testing. Mentor, coach and assist contingent junior developers on the projects.
Essential skills:
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills (C++/C#)
- Programming with C, JavaScript, Perl
- Extensive (5+ years ) of application design and implementation experience
- Strong Software Engineering Skills - Design Patterns, Unit Testing, Code coverage, Code structuring.
- Strong Windows and Linux experience
- Experience of Secure Data Communications
- Knowledge of programming against Application Programming Interfaces (REST, Message Queues)
- Working knowledge of Scrum Process & Ceremonies and supporting Agile engineering practices
Education
- A BSc or MSc degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics from a University
