- Design, code, peer review and test new subsystems/modules in accordance with ISO approved procedures and development standards.
- Highly proficient and extensive knowledge of developing Web Applications using ORACLE APEX.
- Development of complex server side PL/SQL code for data input valudation and data import/export.
- Disciplined and methodical approach to configuration control of changes to live applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- The preparation and presentation of project progress.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Exeperience of working in a Ministry of Defence software project environment.
- Administration of PVCS.
- Experience of development and deployment using Oracle Fusion Middleware (11g).
- Knowledge of submarine and surface ship policies, organisations and working practices, including information management systems.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo Security clearance.
