Title: Sr. Integration Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Type: Perm/Full-time
Our client in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Sr. Integration Developer for an exciting opportunity. As a Sr. Integration Developer you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and overseeing execution of solution construction to ensure business requirements are met with quality. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the execution of small to large IT projects throughout the design, implementation and production stabilization phases
Lead integration projects, utilizing WebSphere Message Broker and/or Informatica
Act as an internal consultant, providing architecture, vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving for the assigned project(s)
Participate in estimation of technical effort for project and requirement-level scope
Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and mitigate technical risk and ensure project status, design and approach is well-articulated to management/business team
Collaborate on highly complex issue resolution with the functional, development, and integration IT teams as necessary
Implement fixes and enhancements to improve supportability, operability, or performance of the technical solution
Provide hands-on support for builds, production launch, and post-deployment fixes
Design and develop ETL structures to extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources into data warehouse and other databases based on requirements
Design and develop reusable integration patterns within ESB solutions
Coach and mentor junior technical staff
High proficiency in designing, developing, integrating and deploying enterprise applications
Broad experience in web services/SOA distributed applications including WebSphere Integration products (WMB, MQ, ESB, DataPower) and ETL (Informatica)
Experience in a broad variety of integration techniques, patterns, tools and methodologies
Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
Creates trust by following through on commitments, demonstrating commitment to quality and delivering good customer service
Effectively leads conversations on difficult topics to drive alignment and decision-making
Creates positive team energy by setting direction, promoting integrity, helping others and recognizing performance
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors and/or Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years hands-on design, development, integration and deployment experience in enterprise applications
Solid background in MQ (version 6/7) and Message Broker (version 7/8 or above) Operations. Administration and Support a plus
Proficiency with Message Broker Runtime on UNIX/Linux platforms
Experience with SOAP, HTTP broker protocols
Hands-on experience in message flow problem diagnosis and investigations.
Experience in creating and reviewing functional requirements (Use Cases)
Experience in establishing and documenting technical detailed design artifacts (UML experience a plus)
Excellent troubleshooting skills in resolving complex application, data and infrastructure issues
Experience in vendor support escalation and management
Ability to lead small development and business analyst teams from a technical and professional perspective
Understanding of Retail IT systems a plus
Knowledge of databases (Oracle, DB/2, SQL Server)
Experience implementing Message Broker solutions with JDBC, ODBC, WSDL, Web Services, XML, XSD, XSL
Experience with Datapower a plus
