role of consultant:
Skills and Experience
o 4 years experience with SAP modules
o configuration, testing, deployment etc,
o 3 years Functional Design preparation
o 2 years in process definition sessions or FIT/GAP sessions
o 2 years experience in consumer goods industry.
o Knowledge of Interaction Centre Sales and Service with iBase
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
o Documents functional requirements of a body of ERP configuration/custom development to meet business requirements (Reports/Interfaces/Conversions/Extensions/Forms)
o Supports definition of, and then documents global processes in line with the global standards
o Where appropriate, participates with release teams in market/business impact analysis and assessments
o Identifies and assesses gaps between Legacy processes and global processes
o Examines and recommends feasibility of systems changes from process redesign
o The architect (whether this is with a technical, application or data focus) will be responsible for ensuring the design of software and/or hardware components are aligned with the overall Customer strategy. They will be required to adhere to the defined methodology ensuring all phases are successfully completed before operational use of the component is required. Their responsibilities will run from the early planning and requirements gathering stages, to the actual build of the component or delivery of the piece of work in hand
o Manages small technical teams of more junior resources from Complex SI or Technical Solutions workforces. Supervision includes:
o Assigning specific components to specific resources
o Reviewing deliverables (code, test scripts, unit tests, etc.)
o Participating in checkpoints
o Reporting status to Project Managers
o Managing resource issues,
o Integrating with other teams to provide a cohesive final product,
o Managing team level issues and risks.
