Contract £ per day - Edinburgh - Change Control Manager
My client is a leading global provider of technology and services to the financial services industry.
They are looking for a Change Control Manager to work in Edinburgh with one of their most high profile banking clients. At any one time the successful Change Control Manager will be managing around 20-25 small to medium change requests. This current incumbent is moving to a different role within the organisation after establishing good change request process and governance, which now needs to be further improved and maintained
The role:
*Attend weekly joint change forum to review and agree change with client
*Manage change 'gates' to ensure that all commercial and delivery approvals are provided
*This involves the raising, impact assessment, change req approval and delivery gates
*Ensure all approvals are provided at each stage gate
*Review change requests with client to agree position and approval timelines
*Responsible for change request financial invoice log and change request forecast
*Manage change request Library on Sharepoint
*Provide commercial review of all change requests
*Carry out oversight on the change delivery to ensure that dependencies and the plans are joined up
*Provide commercial review of statements of work ensuring deliverables and client obligations are clear and unambiguous
*Ensure appropriate approvals are provided (Contract, Commercial, Delivery, Exec, Finance, Legal)
My client is looking for someone with experience of managing change control within financial services, with the following key skills and attributes:
Key Attribute:
Very organised, ability to negotiate, commercially aware, strong stakeholder management (Client/Internal), good delegator, strong change control disciplines (commercial to delivery). Potentially from a Consultancy environment/background.
Engagement:
Candidate needs to manage all changes to project scope and work stakeholders to determine commercial/delivery impact
Governance:
Candidate need to manage necessary governance (internal and external)
Change Control:
Candidate need to work with delivery to ensure all changes are properly change controlled into delivery
