Where do you work?
IT infra, Department Data Center Operations Team Middleware Management, Utrecht. Within the Department of Data Center Operations Team Middleware Management is among others responsible for the management of the WebSphere (application hosting) platform. Middleware Management team consists of approximately 25 employees and has four clusters, namely Cordys, SFT, WebSphere and Database Management. Its tasks include activities such as the fulfillment of the agreed service levels with respect to the availability, performance, capacity, continuity and security. Preparing and changes the controlled implementation of the changes. Resolving incidents and participation in infrastructure projects of a cross-team character. For the management of our WebSphere Middleware, we look for external colleagues with luggage below. What you gonna do?
Technical management WebSphere infrastructure and solutions that run here;
Planning, implementation and testing of installations, updates and changes to the Middleware software, including applications for network, storage and system requirements;
Ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity measures;
Ensuring compliance measures such as PCI-DSS;
Planning the necessary capacity and performance based on their own projections and commercial information;
Preparing and managing documentation;
Maintain and apply knowledge on technological developments;
Identify errors in the technical infrastructure and perform problem analysis;
Standby and rotating core staffing services;
Coordinating changes and planning; What do you got?
General requirements:
o Completed bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science;
o At least 3 years experience in a complex environment;
o ITIL knowledge and certification;
o Good command in spoken and written Dutch and English;
o Good communication skills;
o High degree of independence, but also willing and able to operate in a team;
o Prepare to participate in standby services form and willing to out of hours (evening, Saturday, Sunday) to perform actions.
Must haves:
o In depth knowledge of WebSphere Application Server 7.0 and 8.5
o Knowledge of LDAP schemes for larger organisaties
o Microsoft Windows knowledge
o Linux knowledge
Nice to haves:
o In depth knowledge of IBM Tivoli Directory Server 6.3
o Knowledge of IBM Business Process Manager 8.5
o Knowledge of JBOSS
o XLDeploy knowledge and knowledge of jython Scripting
o PCI DSS and security knowledge
