Description

I am pleased to partner with my banking client in Edinburgh, who are currently undergoing an ambitious and exciting programme of change. They continue to see strong growth despite a challenging environment during the recent economic downturn, and have experienced success in a highly competitive market. My client strongly values the contribution of its employees, and recognises that business objectives cannot be achieved without attracting and developing high quality people.

With this in mind, I am looking for a Commercial Change Manager to contribute to the future growth and development of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of Business Change Analysis, specifically in retail and/or commercial banking products. This is a 12 month fixed term contract initially, with opportunity to become a permanent role going forward.

Key accountabilities:

  • Requirements elicitation and development in order to understand, document and challenge business needs.
  • Translating requirements to define project scope, objectives and business goals.
  • Assessing and validating effectiveness of proposed solutions, developing as-is and to-be business models.
  • Leading the Commercial Test Team in scoping and delivering testing, to assure appropriate business process solutions.
  • Ensuring Business Readiness of all defined solutions, working within wider Commercial area of the business, ensuring operational readiness post delivery.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks as directed by Lead Business Analyst.
  • People and self development, knowledge-sharing, and influencing appropriate colleagues as required.

Required Experience:

  • Experience of working within the Financial Services industry essential.
  • Work in Core Banking Products will strongly enhance your application.
  • Working on an integration or migration programme.
  • Managing and developing Business Change programmes.
  • A 'people person,' with highly developed relationship management skills and ability to communicate ideas at all levels across the organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to persuade and overcome objections.
  • Highly customer focused.
