Channels Demand & Engagement Manager - Telco/Mobile
I am currently looking for a Channels Demand & Engagement Manager to work for the world's second-largest multinational mobile telecommunications company operating in over 65 countries with revenues in excess of £46.4 billion, employing over 86,000 employees.
Key skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management with senior managers and execs
- Demand and pipeline management experience for technology programmes and projects
- Strong commercial knowledge and the ability to understand and challenge commercial and technology business cases
- Key experience in either Digital Online & Mobile, Customer Operations or Retail (particularly in store operations, stock management and forecasting)
- Programme and project management skills
- Experience in requirements management and decomposition of business requirements/objectives into technical scope
- Ability to simplify and break down complex programmes of work into discrete deliverables
- Ability to understand and clarify fuzzy input from business stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment where clear direction and thought leadership is provided by the individual themselves
- Understanding of high level business process analysis and managing teams of business analysts & project managers
- Resource and cost forecasting across the programme - through utilising demand pipeline
- Ability to think outside of the box coupled with practical execution to solve multi-dimensional, cross location issues
- Communicates with high impact
- Networks efficiently and builds strong working relationships
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands
D & E team objectives
- Accountable for incoming pre-demand and demand for Channels technology projects from business stakeholders
- Responsible for progressing pre-demand and demand through a gated process (L0 - G2) through to business case sign off and handover for technology factories
- Responsible for stakeholder engagement and management with key stakeholders in Group commercial, finance, Group technology and local markets
- Responsible for forecasting (6-12 months ahead) on resourcing and budgets across the Channels team and individually on projects
- Driven by key KPIs such as demand throughput and speed, project estimation variance, resource forecasting per project and across the programme
