URGENT!!!!Front End Developer/Magento/London/£PDI am URGENTLY recruiting for a Front-End Developer with a keen interest in Magento to work with a growing online retailer on there ecommerce website!
You will be joining a Strong team of 3 Developers working closely with the business to create further visual stand out from the completion!
This is a 6 month contract with a view to extend.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Be able to convert layered Photoshop templates to fully functional responsive HTML & CSS, paying attention to details and delivering pixel perfect results.
Use the best practices in the industry to decrease the page loading time (reducing the number of requests, the size of the scripts and images, etc.)
Always test your work on different browsers and devices before delivering it to the main stakeholders.
Be enthusiastic and proactive about your work, always recommend new tools and widgets to make the website more visually appealing and boost conversions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in Front-End Development.
Key skills:
Html5/CSS/CSS3/jQuery/AJAX expert
Magento layout and templates understanding
Front-end development and performance best practices
Responsive Web design best practices
Git
Good to have:
OO Javascript, Prototype, JS Frameworks, Node.js
Magento blocks/controllers understanding
SASS/LESS/Stylus
Functional Testing with Selenium or CasperJS
Experience using REST/SOAP APIs
The daily rate is between £200 - £230 per day and we have interview slots for this week!
