Senior Network Engineer - Cisco/Nexus Immediate Start at CCIE level

Position Purpose:

The Senior Network Design Engineer within the Customer Solutions group will utilize their deep hands on technical skill sets in the design, implementation, support structure and improvement of our Clients network infrastructure. You will be working for one of Australia's leading systems integrators. based in Sydney's CBD and North Shore, working on several high priority projects.

Key Responsibilities include:
Proven Cisco Nexus DC Switching experience:
Hands On, Design, Architecture, Implementations and Migrations.
Experience in the design and architecture of highly available Network services in a large scale environment 
Exposure to design principles for both centralised and Cloud Computing 
Detailed design documents 
Understanding of Managed Services Environments and offerings. 

Background & Experience:
This is a senior role, requiring a minimum of 5 years experience with a very strong technical hands on background. Experience in delivering solutions that meet the customers TCO requirements. Nexus, QoS, ASA Firewalls, Wireless (Aruba).

Skills & knowledge:
DataCentre topology that includes Cisco Nexus 5K's and Nexus N2k's (design, deploy, test)
Proven Design experience from a vendor/solutions integrator approach. CCIE R&Sw level preferred. Nexus (design, deploy, test)
Cisco ASA Firewall  (design, deploy, test)
Wireless (preferably Aruba)  (design, deploy, test)
Strong customer relationship skills.
Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
Strong influencing & interpersonal skills.
Strong discovery skills & ability to identify customers pain & map a solution that will deliver benefit.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.

Industry certification, we would like to see CCIE certification or a long proven history involving extensive hands on design and architecture experience.
