Description
This successful and established Singapore group is looking for a Business Analyst (12 month contract) to join the Business Managemnet Office team within Real Estate to support the roll out of key enhancements for their Real Estate's portfolio information and analytics system.
The successful candidate will be exposed to the real estate business and be familiarised with the industry's key performance metrics across different property sectors. The individual will also work closely with the Front Office investment professionals by acting as a technical expert within the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Take the lead in the rollout out of the software enhancements and projects, which includes managing the User Acceptance Testing (UA) process globally to ensure all user requirements are fully tested.
- Play a key role in understanding business requirements, underlying needs, play a bridging role between the RE investment teams and the technology dept and ensure accurate documentation of business requirements, test plans and test results
- Lead business readiness activities, such as user training and system data migration exercises
- Identify opportunities for streamlining of processes and propose changes for improvements, where possible
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Business, Banking & Finance, Real Estate, Information Systems or Computer Science, with solid experience in business analyst roles within the financial services industry, including the execution of UAT
- Experience and good knowledge of best practices in project management
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders, which includes fostering and maintaining collaborative working relationships with the various teams
- Self-motivated, independent and a fast learner with the ability and to grasp new concepts and knowledge quickly
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
