The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for validating/building/maintaining/supporting network connectivity between our client's customers and production environments. This role will serve as the network technology expert for all project and support teams, ensuring Firewalls, Routers, load balancers, Switches and other infrastructure components are configured to PCI 3.0 standards. The Senior Network Engineer will participate in customer necessitated support and change events involving Cisco, F5, and Juniper technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on network engineering, design and operations support at a deep technical level
  • Resolve internal and external partner network issues through design, troubleshooting, research, configuration and implementation while following best practices and applicable policies and procedures
  • Will be working to implement and support all aspects of complex, integrated network infrastructure
  • Work alone and in multi-discipline teams to provide issue resolution, network design, product recommendations and evaluations, proof of concept, configurations and implementations to support enterprise business requirements

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of network systems engineering experience
  • CCIE, CCNP or other professional certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, Load Balancers(ACE), and Firewalls(ASA)
  • Experience with QoS and Multi-Cast Networking
  • LAN/WAN architecture to include: Metro E, EIGRP, WAN backbone design, BGP, OSPF, FR-MPLS, etc.
  • Will provide guidance, leadership, and mentor-ship to junior engineers
  • Experience with H/A, Redundant Router, Switch and Firewall configuration
  • Experience with Network Monitoring tools
  • Nice to have experience with ticketing systems like Service Now or Remedy
  • Must be familiar with MS Office including Project and Visio
