IT Operations Analyst: (Linux/Unix/Oracle/SQL/C/C++/Object Oriented Programming/French
My financial client is looking for an IT Operations Analyst to provide support to IT mission critical applications within the clients environment and ensure that the maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24 hour basis.
Key skills:
- University degree, BAC+2/3 in an IT Related discipline or equivalent
- Experience in Linux and/or Unix environment
- Good knowledge of Oracle and SQL; basic knowledge of C, C++, Object Oriented Programming
- Ability to work in a customer facing role, service oriented attitude and attention to detail
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French. Additional languages will be an asset.
- Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility, proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as competent handling of MS Office applications round out the profile.
Responsibilities:
- Support the production environment 24/7 and solve business and IT problems with innovative solutions to ensure that a maximum service level is provided to Customers on a 24 hour basis
- Implement, integrate and support third party software as well as internally developed applications within the IT productions environment.
- Analyse problems and resolve issues during shift work and perform monitoring, tuning and optimisation of performance on in-house applications whilst ensuring maximum availability and service to customers
- Ensure the integrity of the production environment and implement upgrades or new products that are critical for the daily operational business
