Senior Front End Web Developer - CMS/Wordpress/HTML/CSS/JQuery/Lamp
An experienced Front End Web Developer is being sought after by a London Borough Council based in North West London.
As a Front End Web Developer, your role will be to provide the IT and design skills needed to design, support and develop Front End applications for the Council to meet service and engagement requirements. The areas covered are Web/GIS, Internet and Intranet applications.
It is imperative that the systems within Front End Web Development, which support this process, are reliable, visually attractive and are at the highest levels of user ability for all our residents.
Required skills/experience:
Utilising and developing with social media and blogging tools like Facebook and Twitter as well as CMS systems experience. Wordpress experience desirable
Excellent Front End experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS and JQuery. Experience with animation tools like JQuery and Adobe Flex desirable.
Experience of development within a team in a LAMP environment. Experience of using tools such as Eclipse and CVS/SVN desirable
Excellent knowledge of integration techniques to Back Office facilities through web services or XML data loads. SOAP or XMLRPC experience desirable
