MI Analyst/Reporting Analyst  - Cardiff- £500pd - Banking

A leading UK retail Bank requires an MI Reporting Analyst with strong project management skills to join a programme based in Cardiff.

Your primary role as the MI &Reporting Analyst will be to complete analysis of one or more credit risk disciplines which focus on the different functions within the customer life cycle.

Key deliverables will include:

  • Producing multiple daily, weekly and monthly management and other oversight/regulatory reports covering the global data environment.
  • Consolidation and streamlining the data and information gathering in order to best highlight key trends/issues for remediation.
  • Coordinate the delivery of accurate and timely commentary and MI in support of stakeholder submissions.
  • Assist with developing and roll out of data infrastructure/MIS reporting platform
  • Responsible for performing various activities related to business analysis, portfolio diagnostic and insight.
  • Work with Countries/PM teams to help design and implement analytically driven solutions to generate long-term, sustainable value

To be considered you will possess the following key skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills
  • Experience in analysing data, drawing inferences and making recommendations.
  • Strong influence and relationship management skills, highly results oriented.
  • Ability to apply analytical, computer, statistical problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure their quality and on-time delivery
  • Strong understanding of SAS and Microsoft Applications (in particular Excel and  PowerPoint)
