Leading Pharmaceutical client have a long term contract requirement for an experienced Mechanical Services Project Manager.Working on a large scale new build, we are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager with previous new build Laboratory experience (microbiological or biological)to work closely with the users, architects & stakeholders to help define user requirements and 'mechanical services' expertise from concept and detailed design through to construction.
You will be required to provide Mechanical Project Management support from detailed design phase upwards for the build of a biologics lab which is part of a £500 million new headquarters
Role: To work as part of the project team establishing concept design, detailed design phases of the Cambridge new build project working along side architects defining User requirements and reporting in to stake holders
Duties/Deliverables:
Working alongside architects working up user requirements
Providing expertise for mechanical services - HVAC, Waste, Water etc
Role:
* Project Manager with a strong Mechanical Services background who will be based working with the appointed architects helping to define user requirements, concept design and detailed design phases prior to moving in to construction.
This role requires a strong background in full lifecycle project delivering from concept to handover and requires experience of reporting in to Stake Holders for the construction of biologics labs
Skills/Experience Required:
• Project Management - from concept design stage through to handover
• Extensive mechanical services knowledge preferably gained with the pharmaceutical sector
• Knowledge of Biologicial /Microbiology laboratory builds
• Level 2 containment Labs- involving HVAC, purified water, Waste systems.
* Previous concept design, design phase experience
