Role: Compliance Manager - Retail Banking (Advisory)Type: Permanent / Full Time
Location: London OR Milton Keynes
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £45,000 p/a to £55,000 p/a + Medical + Pension + Bonus
Compliance Manager required for the retail arm of a Tier 1 Bank. You will be a part of a team to ensure the relevant business area comply with the obligations under UK regulatory requirements.
You will be working with a team of managers and will have support from other areas of compliance on advisory services and then to oversee that the rules / regulations are implemented effectively.
In this role you will be required to:
- Develop and manage effective relationships with key business areas/stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide advice on the FCA handbooks which including CONC, DISP, SYSC, PRIN and Lending Code.
- Work on second line of defence assurance activities.
- Review and approve financial materials.
- Keep appropriate records and logs in relation to compliance activities.
- Keep up to date with regulatory change and feed back to the team as necessary.
And have the required experience:
- Knowledge of consumer credit markets.
- A good understanding of product areas of the consumer credit business for example, credit cards and loans.
- Experience of second line of defence assurance of regulatory compliance processes, practices, risks and customer outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
