Description
My client are currently looking for a target focused systems engineer to join the team for a contract term lasting at least 3 months, starting in the next week or so and are based in North West London.They require a hands on, focused individual who serves a competent ability to take a hands on approach to Infrastructure support requirements, and daily duties will consist of:
-Provide 2nd/3rd Line technical support to different departments across the firm
-Research & Report back to the Infrastructure Manager with frequent updates on new technologies/upgrades and the impact that they will have on the company
-Provide weekly reports on effectiveness of the systems under your control
-Liaise with clients/3rd parties
The company cover a broad range of Infrastructure/Networking technologies, and these primarily include:
-Microsoft Windows (XP - 8.1)
-Windows Server (2008R)
-Microsoft Exchange (2010)
-VMware (5.5)
-Active Directory (AD)
-SQL Server )
The ideal candidate will come with the "know-how" in all of the above, and will ideally be certified in:
-MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
-VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
-CCNP (Cisco Certified Networking Professional)
