Job Title: Site Manager, my client is also keen to hear from mechanical, electrical or process biased site agents or project managers

Location: North West for United Utilities

Day rate: negotiable between £350-£400

Duration: Initial 12 month contract

Project Information:

The Project consists of major upgrades to the site, including replacement of the existing inlet screens, refurbishment of the primary and secondary digestion systems, introduction of a Thermal Hydrolysis plant and its associated pre and post plant and equipment, and construction of a new Sludge Cake Building. Improvement of the environment will be undertaken by new Odour Control Plants.

To be suitable for the position you must have;

Worked as a Site Manager within the water industry
Track record of interfacing with the client on major projects
Managed teams of M&E supervisors

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you had;

Good understanding of mechanical, process and electrical installation
Main contractor background
Professionals qualifications - mechanical, electrical or process engineering
IOSH, CSCS, First Aid, EUSR are essential - SMSTS is desirable

Role Information:

You will have regular interface with the client providing progress reports to both internal management and the client themselves. You would also be responsible for ensuring the day to day meica install is running in line with the overall programme and that strict health & safety policies are been adhered to at all times.
