My client is looking for an experienced Change delivery Manager to come into a business critical project spanning 12 months of work.

key accountabilities:
  • Delivery of Risk sponsored projects - Specifically BASEL advanced models
  • Project initiation and milestone planning
  • Develop plans to deliver developments to dates anticipated by the MTP thinking through the details on how the interactions will work and then ensuring delivery is in line with that plan
  • Monitor performance against milestones; agree remedial actions to recover adverse variances or escalate through the line up to Risk Senior Management Team where remedial actions cannot be agreed
  • Coordinating inputs and disseminating project status updates across CRO & Risk
  • Work with stakeholders and Risk Senior Management Team to regularly re-prioritise delivery
  • Documenting business requirements, sometimes down to a detailed functional requirements level, and interacting closely with the supply chain to ensure right first time delivery
  • Manage delivery, coordinating resources from across supporting function
  • Representing Risk on enterprise wide projects.


Essential skills:
  • Experience in project management, including Budgeting, Reporting and Managing cross-functional teams populated with a high proportion of IT/technical specialists, achieving alignment and buy-in to delivery
  • Proficient with MS software suite, including MS Project
  • Stakeholder communication at senior stakeholder level essential
  • Managing multiple inflight deliveries at differing stages essential
  • Co-ordinating resources across functions and time-zones essential
  • Strong communications skills and ability to place self in the shoes of the intended audience:
  • To produce clear business requirements (business analysis)
  • To synthesise the key commercial implications/decisions out of complex technical information and vice versa to ensure key business objectives are not compromised
  • To capture attention and commitment at all levels through high quality presentations
  • An ability to quickly understand the different roles people are playing in the project and managing them effectively
  • Detailed knowledge of systems and processes used in credit risk decisioning and IT / ops working practices, tools and techniques (to ensure correct interpretation between business and system requirements)
  • Experience of the processes required to implement software solutions in a consumer finance (credit card; loans; store card; mortgage) environment.
  • Business case development
  • Either has or is keen to acquire business experience with full E2E accountability for a business process.
