To manage and improve the locations Quality function and systems in accordance with the annual Operations and Quality objectives, goals, strategies & measures (OGSM).

An active member of both the manufacturing plant and EMEA Quality leadership teams who can lead by example as a change agent with strong coordination, communication and coaching skills.
Where assigned, manage the direct reporting of Quality Engineers and / or Technicians, including work priorities, annual personal development planning and training.
Able to contribute and drive forward the EMEA Quality vision at local levels (advocate) & cascade the annual operations & quality objectives, goals, strategies, measures (OGSM) to the site and individual reports including personal development plan objectives.
Clearly understand internal / external customer critical to quality requirements, including inspection and test certification, and develop suitable value driven metrics to verify performance improvements.
Maintaining ISO9001 & other relevant certifications for the site. Through a process driven approach develop the local level Quality management system in alignment with regional and / or global directions to enhance the value added benefits to the business (continuous improvement & best business practice sharing).
Ability to facilitate the resolution of Quality problems through the wider cross functional teams involvement via suitable tools such as 8D problem solving and lean six sigma methodologies as appropriate.
Coordinate customer & external audit / inspection body accreditation and relationships.
Ensure that all company HS&E policies and procedures are personally adhered to taking a 'no walk past' approach.
