- Cognos Developer - 12+ month contracts
- MUST BE - Baseline Security Cleared
- Must have strong design, development and implementation experience in DB2 and Data warehouse (DWH), OLAP Cube design and modelling
Opportunity for Cognos Developer to work with a large Multinational company on a major piece of work! Contracts will be for an initial 12 months however the opportunity of permanent is available as well.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver outcomes through quality contributions to Development and Testing of OSS software as per Software Development Process.
Mandatory requirements:
- Cognos Data Manager Experience (Data Manager Design Studio, Data Manager Engine, Data Manager Network Services etc)
- Infosphere DataStage Experience (MDE Tools, Omnibus Reporting Gateway)
- Star Schema Datamodelling experience, preferable in Telco domain
- Scripting (linux & windows), DB Scripting (SQL & DB2), strong PL/SQL (especially in PIPE LINE services)
- Scheduler experience - Cognos Data Manager Job Stream, MS SQL Server Agent
- Must be Security Cleared
Desirable:
- SID especially TSID
- Cognos Suite -Framework Manager, Report Studio, Event Studio etc
- Cognos cube experience
- Writing scripts
