Description
Working for a large aerospace engineering firm situated in Canberra, the Project Scheduler will be responsible for schedule development, scheduling and planning activities for various projects ensuring all significant work are well tracked and monitored. The project schedules will be developed in Primavera.
As the project scheduler, you will undertake a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Development of industry-standard project work breakdown structures (WBS) as the framework of the Master Schedule and budgets
- In-depth project development, involving identification of tasks and milestones, logic sequencing, timeline preparation, establishment of baseline dates, determination of forecast dates and critical path analysis
- Regular update of project schedules and maintenance of baselines
- The application of project planning in developing work package plans
- Establishment of project budget baselines derived from validated estimates
- Operation of the basic earned value management requirements of projects
- Provision to project managers monthly cost performance reports
- Transition of quoted work packages into live Primavera projects
- Compliance to project planning and control (PP&C)processes
- Provision of input to the Project Management Office (PMO) and PP&C process improvement activities
