Senior Web Developer - Central Government- Contract - London
I'm currently working with a leading government organisation located in central London who are seeking a Senior Web Developer who's responsibilities include:
- Assisting and guiding other team members where necessary as you design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation
- Leading the development of new IT solutions and initiatives
- Building web and mobile products to serve a variety of users' need
- Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers
Experience
- Experience building Server Side web applications and detailed knowledge of at least one programming language (we use a range of languages including ruby, python) and/or detailed understanding and experience of Front End web development (HTML/CSS/JS)
- Outstanding ability to develop efficient, highly optimised and clear code
- Understanding of and experience with a range of approaches to testing application code and systems for behaviour and performance
- Agile project experience
- High level of competence/experience with python language using Django.
- Experience of building web based API's/software.
