RAM Engineer - London - 6 months - £/day/Ltd
My client is a highly recognized organization who has a significant presence within the Rail sector. Currently, they have an opportunity for a RAM Engineer to join them in London on a 6 months contract basis. The assignment is working on the ATC project.
Ultimately, the role is to provide necessary RAM support to the ATC Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating and implementing an ATC Programme RAM strategy in accordance with EN50126/ESAC to meet the business expectations on RAM. The person will be involved in the production of ATC RAM deliverables, managing ATC reliability and planning for continuous reliability improvement.
Key duties:
+ Provision of RAM engineering expertise to the ATC projects
+ Delivery of high level and project level RAM system documentation
+ Provide support to the Programme System Engineers and Project Engineers for RAM engineering assurance
+ Accountable for managing responsibility of RAM engineering resource allocation to project teams
+ Keep up to date with ATC Project RAM plans
+ Review and accept supplier RAM plans
+ Participate in Gate Reviews
+ Conduct RAM audits on ATC projects
+ Participate in the approval panels and provide RAM expertise
Skills:
+ Background in RAMS Engineering ideal
+ Significant exposure within RAM engineering projects in a safety-critical environment - ideally rail
+ Competent in planning and delivering RAM programme for system projects
+ Competent in RAM modelling tools
+ Strong skills in Excel, Access and Microsoft technologies
