Java Architect Contract
My Financial services client are looking for a Solutions Architect to work within their innovation team. This is an initial 6 month contract with potential for extension. They are looking for the following:
Knowledge:
- 10 years' experience in application development (as a developer, architect, technical specialist and/or technical consultant).
- Hands-on experience with SOA-based implementations in Java and/or .NET.
- Knowledge and passion to new and emerging technologies.
- Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with regional or global scope.
- Strong commitment to a cooperative team approach.
- Proven track record of delivering successful solutions.
- Experience with R&D or other highly innovative initiative in enterprise.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Java stack, .NET stack and TIBCO.
- Excellent skills in application integration.
- Asynchronous messaging, Web Services (SOAP, REST), mediation, routing, XML.
- Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect 10 and other diagramming tools.
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and integration patterns (EAI)
- Excellent skills in architecture documentation, modelling (eg UML, ArchiMate).
- Proven skills in architecture and design communication and presentation.
- Infrastructure design and specification (hardware, networking) for complex enterprise-level highly scalable and resilient systems
