Have you been Commercial Manager on a complex construction project with multiple packages coming in at the same time?

Are you coming towards the end of a contract opportunity or immediately available?

My client is still on the lookout for a Commercial Manager on a freelance basis to come in and oversee a team of QSs on a &80million power station construction project.

This is an Energy from Waste Power Station and my client are the principle civil and building services contractor.

The Waste Management contractor to the local Councils, announced plans for a plant to recover energy and treat up to 200,000 tonnes of 'left over' (post-recycling) municipal waste produced by households across the county. Following a thorough and rigorous site selection process, the facility is planned to be built on industrial land and will generate renewable energy in the form of heat and electricity.

This will be based in the MIdlands area and the contract will be for 18 months.

The client is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager who has lead teams on complex construction projects. Examples of projects will be the construction of hospitals, pharmaceutical sites, process plants, power stations, water treatment sites and other large construction projects. Projects where there are going to be multiple high value packages coming in at the same time.

As my client are the Principle Civil Engineering and Building Services contractor experience of both these disciplines would be advantageous.
My client would like to get the suitable candidate started as soon as possible and can interview in their office in the midlands at short notice.
