My client is looking for an experienced Regulatory control MI analyst.The purpose of the role is to join part of the GRCS (Governance, Risk, Control & Security) team, looking to implement sustainable control frameworks for key regulatory policies. The roles are required to deliver a stable, cost effective control model that will deliver the following outcomes:
- Evidence collation - to obtain information from internal data sources and ensure that regulatory control MI is maintained in an integral manner and continues to match requirements of regulatory policies;
- Timeliness and accuracy - to deliver control MI outputs in a timely and accurate manner, including data validation checks (e.g. reconciliations) and working with MI or Operations teams to remove barriers to timely or accurate MI;
- Management oversight - escalation of non-conformances to key risk owners and identification of any increased regulatory risk exposure arising from these processes;
- Risk reporting - to liaise with fellow GRCS colleagues to ensure metrics and non-conformances are fed into existing key risk reporting frameworks to ensure appropriate escalation and remediation of risks identified.
The successful candidate will have experience within the following:
- Data governance - ensuring timely and accurate completion of databases and associated risk reporting.
- Ability to translate raw risk/control run data into a clear narrative for senior managers
Desirable
- Working Knowledge of Risk and Governance within financial services
- Proven track record of compilation and validation of control data.
- Previous experience of interpreting complex MI information into practical and useable risk oversight reporting.
- Experience of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience of provision of data to support conformance testing
