Immediate contract in Brussels for Senior Application Specialist in Electronic payment.

Acquiring is managing electronic payment transactions through payment terminals, eCommerce (web shops), ATM's and mCommerce for brands like Bancontact/MisterCash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners, Sodexo,
Delivery Unit "Financial Processing - Service Acquiring" (FPSA) is providing business services to merchants, such as electronic payments, on-line authorizations & capture, merchant payments, reporting to merchants and Merchants information repository, but also services to different customers like, banks, Payment Service Providers, acquirers. In order to provide such services, FPSA describes functionally & technically new services or updates to current services, develops them, maintains solutions and supports operations.
The FPSA Front Office service is looking for a Senior Application Specialist to reinforce its team.
The Senior Application Specialist will join an established team of Developers and Analysts and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Participate to offers and studies
- Make estimates for those offers and studies
- Participate in defining the roadmap of the applications
- Participate in the design of the applications
- Writing functional analysis documents
- Providing functional and business support to second and third line support team
- Collaborate with the team of architects and with other delivery teams in order to define solutions for new demands and for productions issues
- Coach the less senior developers
- Be the reference person concerning all functional questions of the applications running in FPSA-FO
Technical skills
- Having several years of professional experience in development (preferably C++ and/or JAVA)
- Having several years of experience in functional analysis
- Having worked for several year in the electronic payment industry (preferable the Acquiring aspect)
