Are you looking for your next challenge? Have you previously led a Trust through a robust IT infrastructure strategy?I am currently working with an NHS client that is looking for an Interim Head of IT / Assistant Director.
The Trust are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering in the following areas:
1, Good solid experience of managing IT services to ITIL V3 Foundation level
2, Managing of Infrastructure & Network services and key development in these areas
3, Overseeing the Programme and Project Management with the two sites including WAN, LAN, Desktop and Storage Upgrades
4, People Management - Recruitment, developing existing staff and restructure. Good leadership skills that can manage through challenging times and organisational changes
5, Good experience at managing customers and third party suppliers. Improve and develop relationships with existing suppliers and for turn around when faced with challenging environments.
You will be supporting the following areas:
* ICT Strategy and policy
* Information and Communication Technology Procurement and Contracts management
* Information and Communication Technology Service Desk (1st line support for users)
* Information and Communications Technology Technical Support (2nd line support for users)
* Information and Communications Technology Infrastructure Management
* IT Training
* IT Programme and Projects Management
* ICT Systems Management and Support
* IT Security
The role initially is for 7 months and looking to start immediately.
