Description
The OBIEE Developer is responsible for overall BI architecture, and leads BI Efforts for Data warehousing and reporting design and development in OBIEE.Responsibilities:
- Leverage expertise to develop a best of class OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) environment for New and Existing business groups
- Meet with business/management to understand current procedures and processes and build solutions to enable business functions
- Working on OBIEE 11G reports design and development including RPD, Metadata development.
- Ability to analyze ERP systems like SFDC, SAP, RCS, ISIS, Model N and other Legacy in-house systems and integrate data into Data warehouse and provide reporting solutions in OBIEE
- Support current OBIEE environment on priority and on call 24x7.
- Creating OBIEE ad-hoc reports and working with OBIEE dashboard developer.
- Write advanced SQL and using Oracle's SQL aggregate and analytic functions.
The ideal candidate is a team player with leadership qualities, has excellent analytical and communication skills and participates throughout the life cycle of BI projects as a prime source of information for business processes and data. We are also looking for very good CRM knowledge.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of repository objects designed from ROLAP data models, hierarchies, and levels.
- Minimum of 5 years of OBIEE 11G/Siebel Analytics development experience (including RPD development). Must have OBIEE Developer, OBIEE Architect experience. Nice to have OBIEE Admin level knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL server.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Desirable to be certified on SQL Server, OBIEE and Oracle
- Preferable to have experience working with Off Shore teams
