Enterprise Application (Tools) Architect, TOGAF

Experienced Enterprise Application (Tools) Architect sought for a 3months + contract opportunity based in Oslo/Norway.

Future Proof is the Clients restructuring program for the definition and creation of new market-oriented business model and architecture.

Areas of focus for the department is to develop and offer our customers attractive services as well as providing a holistic future-oriented architecture across domains.

Enterprise Architecture in Future Proof sets the direction for the development of all services  for the Client as a service provider.

The work is sub divided in the following domains:

- Service Architecture
- Process Architecture
- Information Architecture
- Tools (Application) architecture
- Technology Architecture
- Security Architecture
- Architecture Governance

As a service provider the business applications primarily support systems and tools for IT operations.

Note that the responsibility does not include the design of applications, but the composition of an application portfolio to support a superset with business needs.

Main tasks:

Develop and manage application architecture and place it in totality.

Initiate and quality assure tools evaluations for various business needs including in the form of structured purchasing processes.

Modelling and structuring the functional and non-functional requirements across the entire application portfolio.

Identify synergies and optimization potential outside Future Proofs of responsibility.

Be a professional beacon of tools architecture throughout the company.

Support the operating organization in the specification of functional requirements and tools needed.

Competence requirements:

  • Take personal responsibility for application architecture (tools) in a TOGAF-based architecture framework
  • Create trust with architects and with representatives of business
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses for utility activities
  • Broad understanding of IT
  • Good knowledge of IT and ITIL framework, preferably from a service provider environment
  • Outgoing, sociable and enjoy working in restructuring processes
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Customer and results oriented
  • Focus on delivery

Rate: 80 Euros/Hour all incl.
