QA ANALYST needed to join provider of Financial and Gaming Trading Software, in the City of London!

Key responsibilities:
  • Detailed manual testing of new functionality & regression of existing functionality.
  • Assess product requirements and suitability in order to estimate test effort.
  • Liaise closely with business, testers and developers
  • Peer Review, Process and Quality improvements
  • Executing test scenarios for system, regression and Integration Testing, gathering, reporting and monitoring test metrics and defect analysis.
  • Coordinate with business representatives during UAT to achieve sign off
  • Report to Test Manager


Essential:
  • At least 3 years of Software Testing in a high volume transactional website environment (preferably Java)
  • Test automation experience - not just record and replay (SoapUI, Selenium WebDriver)
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology (Scrum)
  • Excellent knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Good understanding of test estimation, planning and quality risk analysis
  • Experience using Test Management tools (TestRail)
  • Experience in System functional, Integration, Regression and End-to-end testing
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools to Raise and track defects (JIRA)
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure without compromising on quality
  • Experience in Unix or SQL usage (back end testing )
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Keen to learn and progress and open to challenges
  • Interest in Sports
  • Educated to Degree level
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing


Desirable:
  • Online Betting industry experience advantageous
  • Experience with scripting languages (Java)
  • TDD/BDD approach
