Communications Specialist

One of are large investment Banking clients - Bank of America is looking for an experienced Communications Specialist

The Global Human Resources (Communication and Engagement team member is responsible for the planning and execution of engagement and readiness strategies in support of the Bank's human resources programs and strategic initiatives. The scope of work includes partnering with business partners to develop and implement customised engagement protocols and readiness strategies for HR and line of business senior leadership, HR managers, operational service centres and support resources, regional branches and facilities, etc. In addition, the role will also serve as a writer/editor for strategic and tactical communications to impacted audiences for HR program and initiatives.

HR change/people change experience, Project Management, Ability to transform strategy into operation
Very strong/proven record of managing senior stakeholders, Writer/editor, Building/facilitating training

Required skills/experiences:
* While the role has a strategic flavour, there will also be a strong need for execution and project management skills including MS Project experience, strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once.
* Highly skilled in MS PowerPoint
* Ability to think both strategically and tactically and to maintain a focus on and passion for improving the employee experience.
* Experience leading large-scale change management or employee readiness efforts. Experience in preparing employees for a new technology is very nice to have.
* Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure deliverables are met on time with high quality
* Proven ability to take action beyond what is required
* Ability to work effectively and proactively with colleagues in many locations (including a US-based manager) without much direction

Desired skills or experiences:
* Degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field
* Experience in building or facilitating training for a global audience
* Experience working in a large, global, matrixed organisation
* Human Resource experience
* Understanding of how metrics/measurements drive decisions about people readiness plans
* Change management certification
