A leading Space customer who provide expertise and system solutions for broadband access systems via satellites and ground control stations are seeking a Power Systems Engineer. My customer are leading experts within spacecraft control and reception of data from earth observation satellites and test systems, this data is mainly used during the integration of spacecraft.
My client Designs and Manufactures:
-High performance demodulators for
-Earth Observation,
-Satellite Telemetry, Command and Ranging
-MF-TDMA DVB-RCS burst
-High performance RF converters
Besides being a satellite ground equipment manufacturer,the customer also designs, develops and integrates the tests telecom and security projects like the Galileo Mission Data Dissemination Network. They also have experience with Electrical Ground System Equipment for spaceborne structures such as Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV).
Power Systems Engineer

Tasks/Responsibilities:
Support the procurement process, mainly for technical issues
-Preparation of specifications
-Participation in reviews with the suppliers
-Involvement in the acceptance process
-Planning and execution of system acceptance and system integration
Preliminary Design of Test benches for Power SCOEs (PCDU, SAW, Main Bus )
-Documentation of SCOEs Specifications, IRDs
-Participation in Reviews: CDRs, TRBs, QRs and ARs
-Documentation of tests, preparation of test reports
-Test preparation of hardware (configuration of item under test)
-Preparation of test procedures
Execution of electrical tests on EGSE level: Interface Tests, Functional Tests, Performance Tests
Qualifications:
-Completed professional education in electrical engineering, space technology, or comparable qualification
-Substantiated knowledge in the following areas: Power Subsystems, Spacecraft Units, Satellite Instruments
-Professional experience in use of EGSE and Electrical Measurement tools
