Operations Risk Analyst/Regulatory Reporting Specialist

One of our large Investment banking clients is looking for an experienced Operations Risk Analyst/Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join the team.

The EMEA Securities Operations Risk team forms part of the EMEA Global Markets Operations department. They provide independent assessment/monitoring of risk and control issues across Global Securities Operations.
The role of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Specialist is to manage the EMEA portion The SIAI has been written to review all regulatory reporting submissions for Global Markets and Banking, risk assess those reports, review controls, close gaps, and establish ongoing governance routines and a quality control testing process.

* Carry out further deep dive reviews of regulatory reports as required to establish any control gaps.
* Assist with all elements of document preparation and information gathering to map key controls and go to green plans. Follow Up on go to green plans and track/manage gap closure.
* Create QC test scripts for ongoing testing of Regulatory reporting outputs.
* Assist with the creation of an overall governance process around Regulatory Reporting obligations.

Requirements
*Financial Services experience in an Operations Risk & Control or Regulatory Role.
* Previous experience and knowledge of the Regulatory environment, including UK, European and US Regulatory bodies and requirements would be an asset.
*Ability to package and present materials with impact.
* Excellent communications skills and the ability to present to an audience of senior level managers with confidence and clarity of thought.
* Ability to work under pressure in a team environment and to influence resources outside of direct control.
* Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
* Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
* Work effectively across regions and locations.
