This team designs, builds and manages the new GPS and two payment engines.

FUNCTION: Lead z/OS Engineer for payment factory.
The lead z/OS engineer operates at the interface of application architecture and development. He/she is one of the most experienced staff of the z/OS team. The lead engineer designs and builds with the other leads the new GPS and payment engines for online transactions. Here is the lead engineer guardian of future-proof solutions, code quality, performance and seamless integration into the system landscape. Aligning performance ism DB2, making the application robust to unexpected scenarios and resolving disruptions are things in the standard work package of this person.

KNOWLEDGE:
The candidate must have all the depth below knowledge, this is really a must
1) IBM Mainframe knowledge - in-depth experience in application development and management of Mainframe infrastructure, Middleware and tooling; more in detail:
- Thorough knowledge of the Z-platform (LPAR, Sysplex, CICS, CICSPlex, Cobol, MQ Queue Sharing Group, DB2 on Z, DB2 data sharing group, Connect Direct, Tivoli (Workload Scheduler) Indesca, Universal Command, GDPs, Unicode, load libraries, Java on Z, WebSphere on Z, Coupling Facility)
- DataPower (CICS web services)
- DevOps and Configuration Management (Endevor, deployment automation)
- Monitoring on Z
- Network resilience
- Integration patterns between modules on Z (nested CICS calls)
- Error handling
- Cobol coding guidelines
2) Thorough knowledge of (IBM) application development and interaction with underlying infrastructure and Middleware
3) knowledge of the market in terms of Mainframe appliances
4) where any Linux knowledge: experience in development and management of infrastructure and Middleware "

An experienced senior technical architect (system engineer), preferably with banking experience with transaction processing systems.

1) authority within the bank on his knowledge (primary focus on IBM Mainframe)
2) may act as a coach for the junior
3) senior to organize a roadmap to reach a platform/Middleware/appliance
4) to fill its network in order, does link the specialists and product managers of the platforms
