Project Manager - Contract role, Dublin
Initial 6 month contract role available for a project manager with financial industry experience with a leading international play in the insurance market.
This role will involve:
Managing project delivery in line with supporting business goals; whilst looking to deliver both in terms of scope, quality and timelines
Effectively communicate project expectations to programme/project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Liaise with project stakeholders and other interested parties on an ongoing basis.
Set and continually manage project expectations and deliverables with team members and other stakeholders
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Working with onshore and geographically distributed teams
Direct and manage project delivery from beginning to end.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Key to this role is having that 'can-do' attitude; being prepared to drive the role forwards - helping work towards achieving the project objectives
Size and level of complexity of the overall change programme means that the successful candidate must be willing to adapt working hours to accommodate and potentially work some weekends as required
Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with programme stakeholders or team members
