I’m Sejun Park, co-founder of IDACT, start-up company based on Seoul, Korea. I came across your portfolio on Dribbble.com and wanted to tell you about our project and ask you if you are interested in working with us for the 12 weeks project.
This is a design-marketing consulting project. The project is to implement Samsung tablet PC for café (Starbucks, or other popular coffeehouse) users. The purpose is to maximize the marketing effect of Samsung tablet pc and enhancing the user experience of customers in café. We want to let users freely and effectively use Samsung tablets for their whatever needs in café. We just want that positive user-experience to be the driving force of our tablet pc marketing solution. How and where in café the tablets are installed or presented is completely up to the designer. The tentative plan is to provide 5 to 15 tablets per café, depending on the size of the store.
We are currently looking for an UX designer for the project. We are currently in the process of convincing our clients, therefore this project isn’t yet guaranteed to get started. Thus, I’m asking you if you will be interested in working for the project in case that our company actually secure the deal from our client. Therefore, even if you say yes now, you won’t be obligated to work for us nor we have to hire you, until our company get the deal from one of our clients AND you sign a contract with us. It’s hard to tell you at this point when the project will start and finish but the approximate plan is mid-Oct. 2014 to mid-Jan. 2015.
-Salary (Negotiable)-
Tentative salary offer from us to you is around $40,000 for 12 weeks project. You will have to hire an intern out of your pocket. 60% and 40% of the salary will be paid in the beginning and at the end of the project by cash respectively. The latter portion(40%) may or may not be paid depending on our client’s evaluation on the work. In such case, proof of evidence will be provided to you. (Or you might just have to work few more weeks to get that 40%)
