What you'll be working on
Skills & Requirements
You should love designing for data-driven applications. This isn't about static beauty - our designs are meant to be used. To showcase the underlying data in the most appealing way. To make interactions simple and obvious. To make using Scout a joy.
You should be a design guy/gal first, with a dollop of interaction designer & HTML producer thrown in. You don't need to be an HTML expert, but you should be open to learning. You'll have plenty of support from us.
You should collaborate well. We don't want someone who disappears for a weeks and then presents the "perfect" design. Rest assured, you won't be micro-managed at Scout. We're a small team, so communication is lightweight - no TPS reports required.
Benefits
Competitive salary, health care reimbursement, unlimited vacation time, sneak out for a bike ride/hike on a beautiful day. Newest-model retina Macbook pro supplied.
Location
We're a remote team spread between Colorado and San Francisco. It'd be swell if you're near those spots, but that's not a requirement.
How to apply
Email us! Resumes are fine, but a more personal email is better.
