Part of THE CLIENT'S Early Phase and Business Development, responsible for front-end work to help our customers define their field architecture. Our goal is to identify the subsea production system that best meets the needs of each new development. We also apply leading edge subsea technologies that enhance production and increases recoverable reserves. From feasibility and concept studies, through to FEED and tender work, we coordinate and integrate the knowledge base to support our Frame Agreement customers and also position for winning new subsea projects.

Responsibilities

*To understand and discuss key technical, schedule and commercial requirements, project risks, challenges and installation, commissioning and production operations associated with the field development.
*To liaise and directly with the customer on all key technical areas of the subsea system.
*Provide the direction and leadership to technical team for the front end phase of Frame Agreements, studies, FEED's and tenders.
*Produce field development solutions and architecture which satisfy project requirements in terms of performance, function, economics, risk, operability and maintainability, safety, reliability and schedule.

Main Tasks

*Liaise and be the point of contact with the customer concerning all front end technical aspects of a subsea field development
*Have good overall knowledge of technologies that can be included within a subsea system.
*Have specialist knowledge and experience within a particular technology discipline (i.e. controls, pipelines, flow assurance etc)
*Lead subsea field development front end phase within Frame Agreements, studies and FEED.
*Be able to represent THE CLIENT'S at customer meetings.
*Interface with all THE CLIENT'S product groups and THE CLIENT'S regional groups concerning front end work.
*Continuously keep updated regarding the latest subsea technology and industry developments.
*Ensure that THE CLIENT'S and FD quality plans and safety culture is adopted and disseminated to others.

Skills and Requirements

*We require a degree qualified person with at least 10 years of subsea system engineering experience.
*You will have a good understanding of subsea technologies and product areas.
*Your previous experience may have been with subsea engineering contractor, technology supplier or some other subsea specialization.
*Experience in early phase engineering and front-end study and field definition work is essential.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player and leader are important.

Due to the nature of the work, there will be a requirement to spend periods of time in our offices and facilities in Norway, Houston, Scotland and Singapore.
