Finite is currently looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to work for one of their key government clients. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy environment and get involved in a talented diverse team.
The Network Security Specialist will be assisting with a large operational project by completing the required changes to networking, videoconferencing and VoIP equipment at multiple sites.
You will be responsible for the management and implementation of a large local area network, communications support (LANs and WANs), installation and support of Cisco Routers and management of Firewalls, Proxy Servers, load balancers, VPN concentrators etc.
Key Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in supporting/implementing large operational networks
- Experience with local and remote users
- In depth knowledge of TCP/IP
- Local are and wide area networking
- Support and management of Cisco Routers, Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls, VPN concentrators. Load Balancing, Reverse Proxy Servers.
- Ability to provide 2 nd and 3 rd level help desk support
- Strong written and verbal communications (ability to produce reports).
