My client, a global investment bank based in Birmingham are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to join their team.
A strong Senior Program Manager is required to work as part of the Shared Application Services (SAS) team. This role will support the delivery of shared Technology service programs within a delivery framework. You will have experience of working in a fast paced environment, have strong communication skills and be able to build strong internal relationships with all business areas across multiple countries and timezones. The key Program ("Build & Deploy") related to this role will establish a new Shared Service factory type capability via a 3rd party to allow automated deployment packages to be developed across controlled test and Production environments. IBM uDeploy (UrbanCode Deploy - UCD) is the chosen platform for all automated deployment in the Program will implement processes and prodecures, as well as templates to support WEB/APP and Database components. It is currently against external regulations and internal DB policy for applications to be deployed into production environments by Application Services (AS) staff. For the process to migrate from AS to ITI, automation is mandatory to meet the Deployment/Release entry quality gate requirement. The Program Manager is responsible for the realisation of the intended outcomes and meeting the expectations of both the Program and the SAS leadership. This requires the Program Manager to manage projects/workstreams to deliver the required outputs whilst managing the costs to budget, delivering the business benefits according to plan, identifying Production related/impacting program delivery risks and proposing mitigations as required. The Program Manager does this by managing project managers and utilizing steering boards for decision making.
You must have:
Extensive experienced in delivering major high complexity/high value change programs
Demonstrable experience in leading complex transformation programs to successful conclusions Experience of establishing a factory style build/deployment capability with a 3rd party
Knowledge of automated deployment packaging across controlled test and Production environments, preferably based in IBM uDeploy
Experience in a leadership/management role with material P&L accountability
5+ years experience in Global FS Organizations
Experienced in effectively communicating with and positively influencing diverse stakeholders and team members
Appropriate technical domain expertise
Experience of managing complex infrastructure and/or IT support services implementation projects in large organization
Extensive Microsoft Project experience
Good knowledge of GTO operating model including the contents of the various Production services Good understanding of SDLC
Understanding of Global Financial Services environment
