Your tasks:
- Porting of existing structured text code to new software architecture using structured text
- Testing of ported code for same functionality and performance, documentation of test results
- Prepare and update related documents
Your qualifications
- Solid software design and implementation skills and demonstrated ability
- Strong experience in PLC software coding in structured text
- Expert level in Automation Studio 4.0
- Demonstrated experience in PLC software design for industrial applications (control algorithm, limit monitoring, state control, …)
- Experience in software design practices and patterns
- PLC code testing, SW testing in simulated environment
- Technical understanding, perform within a team and willingness to learn
- Fluent in English
- Nice to have skills: Experience in Bernecker & Rainer hardware platform; experience in SVN source code repositories; experience in reciprocating engine control
