Our client is an expert-led provider of software solutions for the law enforcement, investigation and incident management sectors around the world. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident Senior Analyst Programmer who will join their Manufacturing Department to work on their suite of Java Web based applications.This exciting opportunity based in Nottingham will see successful candidates getting involved in Software Development, R&D (Research & Development) and application support.
Requirements
Candidates must be confident and be able to communicate effectively. Ideally the candidates will be degree educated and will have at least four years commercial development experience.
J2EE experience is required, as well as exposure to the following:
-SQL
-JavaScript
- XML
- Servlets
- JSP
- JDBC / Hibernate
Experience in the following would also be desirable:
- JSF Framework
- EJB
- Spring
- XSLT
- Web Services
- JUnit
- Oracle/SQL Server RDMS
- JBoss / Weblogic Application Servers
Oracle/Sun Java certification is highly desirable, however assistance will be given to successful candidates looking to progress their certification.
The candidate will be required to be security vetted to the Non-Police Personnel Vetting 3 level. For this reason they must also have been in UK residence for three continuous years prior to employment.
