Description
My client has a multinational presence and is one of the most well known in the medical devices industry. Due to continued expansion, a role has been signed off for an electronics engineer to assist in the development of their hi-tech products in their Livingston site.The appointed candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience developing electronics across a broad range of sectors. You will be well-versed in hardware design and will have used a range of microcontrollers. You will also have an appreciation of embedded software development. It will also be beneficial if you've had exposure to wireless comms and brushless motors, but these are not essential. No medical devices experience is required, but exposure to multiple full product life-cycles and a range of sectors is highly beneficial.
Some of the following skills would be beneficial:
- Worked with a range of microprocessors or microcontrollers
- Full life-cycle; used cutting-edge technology on projects before
- Analogue or low-power techniques
- Design for EMC
