Senior Compliance Manager - Top Asset ManagerA leading Blue Chip Asset Management firm with record profits this year and an excellent package (including bonus expectations up to 40%) is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager in their London office to manage and mentor compliance staff and lead in delivering an effective Compliance Monitoring Programme. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be working closely with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation, implementing controls, making recommendations on enhancements to the programme and being an SME point of contact for daily Compliance advice.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the Compliance Monitoring Programme remains up to date and monitoring reviews are scheduled and completed in a timely manner
- Conducting monitoring reviews of the business and third party administrators and other outsourced service providers such as Investment Managers
- Managing and mentoring the monitoring team or other compliance staff engaged in monitoring activity
- Providing regular reporting and represent Compliance Monitoring on relevant oversight committees and fund boards
- Maintaining regulatory risk assessments
- Liaising with Internal Audit and Operational Risk to ensure that all opportunities for efficient Combined Assurance Monitoring are explored
- Organising and attending monthly CAM meetings to ensure programmes are aligned and reviews are completed
Requirements:
- Compliance Monitoring and Staff Management experience is essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- IAQ or IMC or other modules would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and principles
Location - London
Salary - £70,000 to £75,000 base (with up to 40% bonus and excellent share scheme)
